my final piece and evaluation

The animation is of the same sunject as the orignal one lego men eating a banana and then i added another part of a pint glass getting filled up with coke and then drank. I have improved my work by useing a sturdyer tripod so there is very little to no camera shake in the animation. This helped create a much smoother finish to the animation and help the over all quailty to improve. I also added music to my animation so that there is something to listen to when watching the animation also there is an added section to make the animation slightly longer which is of a drink being filled up and drank so the liquid in the glass raises and then lowers this makes the aniamtions overall run time slightly longer.

final time peice proposal

For my Final time product I have desided to re shoot my animation trying to build apon the feed back that I was given by my tutor. i will use a sturdyer tripod to elimnate as much camera shake as possable which will give the animation a more professsional finish with a smoother looking animation. i will also add music so that it is not completely silent whch will make the animation better as it has some sound to it. i will aslo try to make it longer by adding as section that is of a drink being made and then being drank this will be my final piece because i think the orgnal came out well but could definently be imporved to make the animation over all more professional. this should be easy to acomplish by borrowing a stronger tripod and makeing sure that i do not knock or push the tripod and knock off the the shot. i need to keep the focal length and the zoom the same though out the whole sequnce i could acheive this by useing a fixed focual lense and putting the camera on manual mode...

Stop Motion Animation Research

Edweard Muaybridge was did something that was simlair to stop motion useng a zeotrope which was like a bowl shaped object that the images where stuckonto the inside of the bowl which had slits in the shides which was lit from below so that the images where well lit and easy to see you would then spin the bowl and look though the slits in the sides that would then make the image look like it was moveing and the faster you span it the faster the images went so that the faster the animation played.  later on when film cameras and projectors where more common the more stop motion was created as it was easyer to create them you took a series of images on film and then put them on to a reel and the play them though a projecter would create the stop motion image. One of the most famouse stop motion animaters was Willis O'brien who created the film The Lost world in 1925 which became famous due to the way he created it he later went onto create the film King Kong in 1933. which was a s...

Short narrative Stop Motion

I took 300 images in 30 mins to create this. it involved a banana 4 lego men and forklift toy taking away two pieces of banana each. i used a tripod to try to make sure there was as little camera shake as possible. but there was still a little bit. in my final one i will use a stronger tripod to eliminate even more of the camera shake. i cmae up with the idea when i though that eating a peice of fruit would be boring so i desided to add lego men and other toys to make it more exciting to watch. i took a small bit of inspreation from a youtuber that creates claymation known a Lee Hardcastle.who creates a simalir thing for example he creates small movies useing clay to make a short film. This is the idea i will take forward as my final peice and to improve it i would add sounds to make it more intresting as well as useing a stronger tripod to make it less shakey and it to have a much more soild smooth image along the whole thing i would probably also do it for a longer time so tha...

Harold Edgerton Investigation

Harold Edgerton born april 6th 1903 and died January 4th 1990. He was an american electrical engineer and a photographer Know for his high speed photography. he was the one who created one of the most used techniques for high speed photography which involves multiple flashes going of at the same time so that there is enough light going into the camera in the short amount of time that the shutter is open. this is so that the image has a good exposure and is in focus with the fast moving subject for example a water splashing.  He was the one to create the setup which we used in the studio to photograph the water splashing using a plum to create the splash and working in teams to get the best set up. the way we did it was there was a beam that went across the where the plum would be dropped which would set a timer which will mae the flashes go off which is when you take the image to get the best exposure due to how high the shutter speed is this needs to be a very high amount of lig...

Edweard Muybridge investigation.

Image
Edward Muybridge was born on April 9th 1830 and died may 8th 1904 and is very important in starting the style of motion picture images on of his most famous is of horses running this creates the illusion of it running he did this by putting it into a bowl shaped object which is then span and people can look though slits in the bowl which when span makes the images spin around and as the images are taken at different times that when the images go round past the persons view and it creates a kind of moving image. this is a form of stop motion animation He has photographed many different animals from birds to horses and many others. All of these are displayed the same way using the zoetrope this is the way he animated his images.   The way a  zoetrope  works is by sticking the images in-between the slits in the side where the people look though and then the person looks though the slits and spins th...
